A ceramic square cut side plate in NIJ level 4 for PGD U-line level 4 hard armor. They are made in a single curve for great comfort in sizes 6×6″ and 6×8″.
The plate is made of Monolithic SIC, which means that there is a large piece of ceramic at the front of the ballistic hard armor plate, which is our lightest ceramic solution.

At the same time, the plate stops up to 7.62×63 AP (30-06 springfield), and impacts from AK47, SS109 / M855, M80 and similar threats. Our ESAPI plate is stand alone, and requires no soft armor behind.
Side plates offer enhanced ballistic protection by covering the sides of the torso, safeguarding vital organs like the kidneys and liver. By adding this extra layer of protection, side plates increase survivability without significantly compromising mobility or comfort. Our PGD U-line side plates NIJ level 4 are square cut, single curved and very light for comfort.
